Leveraging synthetic biology and artificial intelligence, its novel cyanobacteria technology platform decarbonises key, everyday chemicals. By targeting key industries like pharma, beauty and personal care, Deep Blue Biotech seeks to expand its carbon mitigation potential with its cost-effective alternatives to fossil fuel-derived chemicals.
Epinal is revolutionising the detection and prevention of narcotic-impaired behaviour for safer roads, flights and workplaces. Utilising AI and novel biotechnology that mimics natural sensory mechanisms, it’s developing a handheld breathalyser that generates rapid results with extreme sensitivity and selectivity.
Transdermal Diagnostics is pioneering the development of bio-wearables that enhance the prevention, diagnosis and management of chronic conditions like diabetes. Its unique sensing technology aims to create the world’s first needle-free continuous monitor for glucose and other health biomarkers. By analysing hair follicles, the adhesive skin patch and transmitter wirelessly communicate information straight to a smartphone app, facilitating a transformative shift in patient care and quality of life for those with diabetes.
